Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul. – Joseph B. Wirthlin

This 50 acres of extraordinary color, better known as The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch®, is in bloom on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and offers a special nursery, garden, and gift shop by Armstrong Garden Centers in addition to festivals throughout the season.

Where else can you go and frolic among such an expanse of blossoming joy or make your way through a winding maze of crawling sweet pea?

This is the only flower farm of it’s kind in these United States, and it’s something of a landmark – some might even say a “monument” to farming and to some of nature’s most vibrant decorations.

–  WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYiNG  –

Facebook: “We had a great time at The Flower Fields yesterday. I brought my daughter, and my 91-year mom (who is in a wheelchair), and was pleased to be told there was no charge for the person in the wheelchair or the person pushing the wheelchair, and the employees were very gracious and welcoming. We had a great day, and it is now another memory to cherish!” – Eileen Hilburn

“A floral masterpiece of an area and a photographers dream. The colours of the flowers bring lots of beauty to the place.” – Abran Ochoa   “Absolutely breathtaking! I’m in the wilderness a lot but standing amongst so much natural color in one place and taking in God’s beauty was overwhelming! Worth a long drive to see them!” – Lisa Marie Ives

Yelp:  “Pretty fun place to be! March and May is the target time frame to go. Be prepared to walk and get your exercise in, that’s what this place is designed for! Complete with a scenic view of the Pacific and that awesome breeze + California sunshine, it feels pretty surreal (especially if you go in the morning when there aren’t many people – hint hint). Overall, awesome place! Too bad it can’t bloom all year long.” – James T.   “The tractor wagon ride around the Flower Fields was welcoming.  It beat having to walk around the fields in the hot weather.  There is also a stop where you can get off, and then hitch a ride on a future wagon.  Gives people time to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of the flower fields with the Pacific Ocean in the distance. There are other attractions at the Flower Fields besides the Tractor Wagon Ride and the beautiful fields of flowers.  They have the Sweet Pea Maze, Artist Garden, Santa’s playground, and some other places. Whether you love nature or not, these Flower Fields in Carlsbad are truly amazing!!! ” – P T.
